There’s a little gizmo that stops the drain when you pull up an the little lever on the tub, and hair gets caught on that and builds up enough to effectively close down the drain.
Your plumber should be able to clear the obstruction no problem!

Usually these are infrared/line of site sensors that are there to detect obstructions in the way of the door.

These were mandated to protect children from being in the way of a closing garage door and being injured. If these are bumped or out of alignment, the door sensor will prevent the door from closing-fortunately, re-aligning them usually soes the trick. Try it first yourself-if you can’t get them lined up then call your local garage door company-they’ll be happy to take care of it for you-
